Job summary

Cencora in Corona, CA is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our site at 215 Deininger Circle. Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with mandatory overtime.

You will verify received merchandise, stock shelves, rotate stock, prepare prescriptions for mailing, and support central fill manifests and staging. This role requires basic math, English reading, teamwork and safe operation of equipment like reach trucks and forklifts. GED or HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

Job Details

Shift Details: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Mandatory OT)

Pay Details: Pay starting at $21.75 based on a variety of earning opportunities including referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.
• Stocks shelves with various types of merchandise.
• Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.
• Packing – completes patient order by placing prescriptions and associated paperwork into a shipping bag through the use of a computer and automated bagger.
• Mail Manifest – scans and makes US mail or UPS (if overnight delivery) ready completed/packed mail order prescriptions.
• Sortation – Assists the staging of prescriptions to be sorted into identified totes using an automated sorter
• Central Fill Manifest – prints tote manifest documentation for each filled/closed tote and prepares nightly driver manifest for each truck line picking up totes from Central Fill.
• Staging – loads finished totes to designated areas for pickup
• Performs daily cycle counts as directed by the shift supervisor and researches discrepancies.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules as defined by State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience

Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels. Must possess basic mathematical skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented. Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions. Basic computer knowledge preferred. Ability to operate equipment at high levels (20'-40') such as reach truck, picker machine, forklift, etc. Ability to help train and assist associates when needed. Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills. Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

Full time Salary Range*

$34,000 - 62,370 *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
