Job summary

Cencora is hiring for a Full-Time position at our Corona, CA facility. The role supports AmerisourceBergen distribution services in the US, with shift hours Monday–Friday 7:30AM–4PM and mandatory overtime.

Starting pay is $21.75 per hour, with opportunities to earn additional bonuses through referrals and performance. Duties include receiving, stocking, packing prescriptions, mail manifests, sortation, staging, and daily cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of equivalent work experience commonly expected.
• Ability to read product descriptions and shelf labels in English.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise against receiving documents and note discrepancies.
• Stock shelves and rotate stock for freshness.
• Pack patient orders using computer and bagger systems.
• Prepare mail manifests and sort prescriptions for delivery.
• Assist staging and loading totes for pickup.
• Perform daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow policies.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details:Full-Time | Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Mandatory OT)

Pay Details:Pay starting at$21.75 based on a variety of earning opportunities including referral bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.

• Stocks shelves with various types of merchandise.

• Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.

• Packing - completes patient order by placing prescriptions and associated paperwork into a shipping bag through the use of a computer and automated bagger.

• Mail Manifest - scans and makes US mail or UPS (if overnight delivery) ready completed/packed mail order prescriptions.

• Sortation - Assists the staging of prescriptions to be sorted into identified totes using an automated sorter

• Central Fill Manifest - prints tote manifest documentation for each filled/closed tote and prepare nightly driver manifest for each truck line picking up totes from Central Fill.

• Staging - loads finished totes to designated areas for pickup

• Performs daily cycle counts as directed by the shift supervisor and researches discrepancies.

• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.

• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules as defined by State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.

• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

• Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience:

• Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.

• Must possess basic mathematical skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.

• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.

• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.

• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

• Ability to operate equipment at high levels (20'-40') such as reach truck, picker machine, forklift, etc.

• Ability to help train and assist associates when needed.

• Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills.

• Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
