Job summary

Micro Center, a leading computer and electronics retailer, seeks a Warehouse Associate for its Columbus-area Distribution Center. The role is full-time, 1st shift, requiring you to stand, lift, and move merchandise as you assist in inbound processing.

Primary tasks include quality control of inbound packages, scanning and ticketing items, and adherence to safety and speed standards. Opportunities for overtime and full-time benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

We are looking for Warehouse Associates to join our fast-paced Distribution Center (located off of 270 & Roberts Rd in the Hilliard area, zip code 43228). This is a full-time position for our 1st shift. Your main responsibility will be to accurately unpack and process inbound merchandise in our automation areas. This is a physical position that will require you to stand, bend, lift and twist to process product. You will be trained in a positive and interactive environment. Hours are 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30 pm Pay rate is $17-$17.50 depending on the department you are placed. This position also has an opportunity for overtime.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hours available are 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day, lift at least 30- 50 lbs., and bend 50% of the day while stacking or pulling product on a skid or from shelves
• Equipment used: pallet jacks, computer systems, RF Scanner, and general office equipment.
• Able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
