Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking warehouse associates in Sacramento, CA. You will retrieve full cases, stack orders, monitor inventory, and prepare shipments in a multi-temperature distribution center.

Shifts are Sun–Thu starting at 4 PM with pay up to $30/hour plus incentives. Must have warehouse experience, be able to lift 10–90 lbs, and obtain forklift/EPJ certification; safety and efficiency are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift/retrieve 10–90 pounds and replenish products from various heights.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Must be able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve full case, stack orders for delivery, and monitor inventory.
• Retrieve products per printed orders and pack products.
• Restock order zones and consolidate merchandise for delivery routes.
• Apply shipping IDs and complete inventory paperwork.
• Maintain orderly workstation and return supplies to locations.

Position Purpose

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• The Full Case retrieves product, stacks orders for delivery, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.
• Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders and packing products.
• Restocks order selection zones as necessary and consolidating merchandise. Stacks orders securely according to sequence of delivery route.
• Applies shipping ID labels to products and completing paperwork related to inventory process.
• Maintains orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Records materials and inventory levels.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 + months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications

• 1 + year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• 6 + months EPJ experience
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
