OPPORTUNITY TO BE AN OWNER IN A WORKER-OWNED COOPERATIVE.

Position in JAY, NY. Sign on bonuses up to $1,500 - ask for details. Great for someone who likes to be active, not sitting at a desk or doing a lot of paperwork.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Work with local homeowners/contractors loading materials purchased in store.
  • Loading and checking orders being shipped to customers.
  • Unloading and checking in deliveries.
  • Assist in keeping work area clean, safe and organized.
  • Helping with inventory.
  • Assisting coworkers with projects when possible.
  • Providing support to the Yard Manager and Store Managers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must enjoy being active and outside.
  • Able to perform basic lifting and loading/unloading of lumber materials.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Desire to work in a supportive, family-style atmosphere.
WHAT WE'LL TEACH:
Basic lumber/hardware store knowledge
  • Proper techniques for loading and storing materials.
  • How to operate a forklift.
