9:30AM to 6PM
The Warehouse Associate works in all aspects of the warehouse, including; receiving, agency/donor services, order building and dock areas. Warehouse staff are expected to cross train and assist in all areas, though primary duties may only be in some.
Duties:
Physical Requirements and Working Condtions:
The work requires considerable strenuous physical exertion such as lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to 75 pounds some of the time, crouching or crawling in restricted areas, pushing and/or pulling heavy loads, operating and working around equipment such as shrink-wrap machine, forklifts and pallet jacks. At times, the warehouse temperatures can be hot and/or cold, especially in fridge/freezer areas. Mandatory 4 to 6 work weekends a year. High attendance expectations. During peak seasons, all UFB staff may be asked to assist with receiving donations, picking up donations or other customer service work outside the normal scope of duties.
