Dal-Tile Warehouse Associate Job Description

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. The position requires daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective:

• Perform various material-handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

• Handle warehouse duties including pulling/assembling customer orders, verifying outbound orders, inventory checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Perform receiving duties such as unloading inbound shipments, processing shipments and returns, and reporting damaged freight.
• Operate forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Follow safety rules, report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Preferred: 3+ years of warehouse experience.

Competencies:

• Basic math, organization, customer service skills, fluency in English, attention to detail, safety-consciousness.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, use hands, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Sit, climb, balance, talk, hear.
• Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
