Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Worker in California to perform picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping and receiving to meet productivity and quality goals. You will support operations across receiving, storage, and loading via order fulfillment and material handling.

You will operate electric pallet jacks and a stand-up forklift, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety standards daily.

Qualifications

Reads production schedules and orders to determine items to move.
Experience with pallet jack or forklift preferred.
Adheres to safety practices in daily operations.

Responsibilities

Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Moves materials from receiving/production to storage or other designated areas.
Sorts and breaks down product by SKU, quantity, and type.
Uses electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
Communicates with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators.
Adheres to safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes daily.
Sorts and stores goods in designated warehouse areas.
Handles company equipment including PPE and voice devices.
Reports safety concerns promptly.
Wears company-issued uniform.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves for shipping.
Labels pallets with identifying information.
Opens bales/crates when necessary.
Records amounts of materials received or distributed.
