Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Warehouse Person to maintain the facility’s appearance and to ensure safe, accessible product flow to stores. You will follow sanitation schedules, assist with cleaning equipment and floors, and support recycling efforts.

Responsibilities include operating pallet trucks and forklifts after certification, lifting up to 67 pounds, and working weekends. This is an on-site role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to obtain pallet truck and forklift certification by start date.
• Able to lift 67 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Read, write and verify numbers.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and PPE per safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the facility per Distribution’s Sanitation SOPs.
• Ensure product is accessible for safe selection and delivery to stores.
• Assist with cleaning industrial equipment, tractor trailers, and facility floors.
• Sort recycling materials and help reduce shrink by handling damaged cases and labeling correctly.
• Document completed tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
