Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center Facilities is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping merchandise to customers in local and regional markets.

In this full-time role, you will operate forklift and pallet jack, use Voice to Pick/RF systems, ensure accuracy, follow safety standards and complete daily housekeeping. You must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work varying shifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Capable of lifting 40–60 pounds repeatedly per shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Must complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Experience with Voice to Pick or RF systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and vendor compliance.
• Adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
