Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center Facilities in California seeks a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping of merchandise for local and outlying areas. You will operate forklifts and RF/Voice systems, load trucks, and ensure accuracy and quality of items.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, preparing shipments, and maintaining orderly work areas. This is a full-time, on-site warehouse role with varied shifts and potential holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker; lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Must complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Must operate Voice to Pick System or RF system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and vendor compliance policy.
• Adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, ‘Preferred Method Standard’.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
