Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate in Garner, NC. Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm and Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare orders, and use RF devices to scan and sort.

You will also receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to PPE requirements. Qualified candidates may have 1–3 years of warehouse experience and forklift exposure.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operator experience preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident free, with the team.
