Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, pick orders, and prepare shipments using RF devices while maintaining accurate inventory and clean, organized work areas.

The role requires up to 50 lbs lifting, 21+ age, and DOT-related certifications or requirements. A focus on safety, reliability, and the ability to adapt to a busy schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident free.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage.
• May provide back-up driver duties and responsibilities.
