Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Dayton team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm with potential overtime. You will pull and prepare outbound orders, operate forklifts and material handling equipment, and ensure accurate receiving and stocking of materials.

We value safety, dependability, and a strong work ethic. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (90 lbs occasionally).

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license.
• Prior experience using forklift, order pickers and other material handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly and 90lbs occasionally.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn our systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts (order selector/cherry picker), pallet jacks and overhead cranes to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace and keep the facility clean, safe, and accident free.
• Provide driver duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage.
