Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT card.
• 1–3 years warehouse, construction supply, or industrial inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required or ability to become certified within defined timeframe.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory handling, and material staging.
• Ability to read packing slips, shipping documents, and basic inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with warehouse staff and field personnel.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems or material tracking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, staging, issuing, and transferring materials and equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders; report discrepancies, damage, or shortages.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and organize inventory safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for delivery to job sites; ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe storage practices.
• Identify low stock levels or frequently used items and notify for timely reordering.
• Follow all safety policies and warehouse procedures; model safe work practices.
• Assist in training or guiding Warehouse Helpers or new team members.
• Support basic maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and tools.
