Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate in Aberdeen, MD to join a team that handles appliances in a safety-first environment with state-of-the-art equipment. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.

The position offers weekly pay, on-the-job training, and benefits starting after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to operate safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.
• Perform duties as assigned.
