Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate in Aberdeen, MD, offering weekly pay and an hourly rate of $19.76. The role supports a safe supply chain with modern equipment and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Training is provided on the job, with PTO from month one and company-matched 401(k) contributions.

Candidates must meet forklift certification and warehousing requirements. Experience with appliances handling and palletized storage is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Diversity-friendly and capable of building professional relationships at all levels.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Detail-oriented with initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand long periods and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
