Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Sanford, FL to support daily warehouse and yard operations. You will safely handle, organize, and prepare building materials for customers and deliveries, operate forklifts and other equipment, and maintain accurate inventory and documentation.

Ideal candidates bring experience with forklifts, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to perform in outdoors conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and accurate documentation.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including general cleaning and painting as needed
