Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (AS400 or similar).
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring and verifying shipments.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling safely.
• Experience in inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes) per OSHA.
• Assist inventory control: stock counting, order picking, packing, shipping/receiving.
• Load/unload shipments using proper manual handling techniques.
• Use WMS/ERP to track stock levels and update records.
• Support order fulfillment and prepare items for shipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for warehouse tasks.
• Apply knowledge of inventory management and logistics procedures.
• Perform safe manual handling of heavy items as required.
• Familiarize with warehouse workflows and equipment operations.
