Responsibilities

• Receive materials: unload trucks, verify items and quantities, report damage or discrepancies.
• Operate equipment: safely use forklifts and pallet jacks to move, organize, and store materials.
• Prepare customer orders: pick, verify, stage, and load orders into delivery vehicles.
• Handle transfers: load trucks with materials moving between company locations.
• Check inventory: count stock, maintain organized storage, report discrepancies.
• Assist with deliveries: accompany drivers 2–3 times per week to unload and bring in materials; no driving.
• Maintain the warehouse: keep aisles clean, inspect equipment, report safety issues.
• Support teammates with other related warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded teammate with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on work. You’ll play an important role in getting the right materials to our customers safely and on time, working alongside a supportive warehouse and delivery team.

What You’ll Do

• Receive materials: Unload incoming trucks, check items and quantities against paperwork, and report damage or discrepancies.
• Operate equipment: Safely use forklifts and pallet jacks to move, organize, and store materials.
• Prepare customer orders: Pick, verify, stage, and load orders into customer vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Handle transfers: Prepare and load trucks with materials moving between company locations.
• Check inventory: Count stock, maintain organized storage areas, and report inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with deliveries: Accompany drivers approximately two to three times per week to unload materials and carry them inside when needed. No driving is required.
• Maintain the warehouse: Keep aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean and orderly, inspect equipment before use, and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Support teammates with other related warehouse duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Prior forklift operating experience is required.
• Building-materials or flooring experience is a plus.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry approximately 60 lbs, with a maximum of 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Attention to detail when checking products, quantities, and orders.
• Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to safe material handling.
• Willingness to work both in the warehouse and as a delivery helper.
