Job summary

Palmetto Gourmet Foods is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate & Forklift Operator to support our supply chain at our Saluda facility. The role involves safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and moving items through production with ERP tracking.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, accuracy, and the ability to work well in a team. This position requires physical effort, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility with shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience.
• Experience with ERP systems for receiving and storage preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other loaders safely.
• Move materials to production lines and track in ERP system.
• Receive shipments and document transactions.
• Prepare and organize items for storage or shipment.
• Inspect and verify shipments against orders.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to safety rules.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycles as needed.
• Support management with warehouse operations and reporting.
