Job summary

C&Y Global is hiring for a Warehouse Staff role in Harvey, IL. This in-person, full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The job includes verifying shipments, loading/unloading materials, sorting by material type, and inventory control.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Forklift experience is a plus; drug test and background check will be conducted.

Hours:

Salary:

$16-$22 Hourly DOE

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Verifies items received by comparing the purchase order and the packing list/invoice
• Physically load and unload scrap metal materials in shipping containers
• Sort scrap metal materials according by type of material
• Inventory management
• Lift 50 lbs or greater

Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, plus minimum 1-2 years construction/warehouse experience.
• Forklift or Bobcat experience (Desirable, but not required)
• Can work under high pressure, and keep high work quality under minimum supervision
• Well-organized, initiative, strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background check
