Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. - Beltsville is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse maintenance, shipping/receiving, product storage, and delivery setup. You will prepare orders, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of customer service while operating warehouse equipment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk or stand for long periods, and work both independently and as part of a team. A clean safety record and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 1–3 years of experience or more preferred.
• Ability to work independently and on a team; establish effective working relationships.
• Strong communication, both written and spoken, with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance per company policy; prepare orders and route materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain inventory controls and ensure order accuracy; minimize material damage.
• Organize warehouse space, manage bin locations, and uphold high customer service standards.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery; lift up to 50 lbs.
