Job summary

Coastal Beverage Company, the leading beverage distributor in Eastern North Carolina, seeks a Warehouse Team Member to safely move, pick, and load beverages onto delivery trucks. You will use a voice-pick system and forklift to prepare orders, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and accuracy.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (as needed). Must be 18+, with at least 3 months warehousing experience and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months similar or related warehouse experience.
• Forklift and/or walkie-rider/electronic pallet jack experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, bar graphs, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Prior distribution warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders or loading trucks; follow policies and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Using voice-pick system, pull orders and stage on cart or pallet for loading.
• Load trucks with forklift or pallet jack according to load sheet; secure with straps.
• Operate forklift, keep certification up to date and report accidents or issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized area; clean spills and report incidents to supervisor.
• Wear PPE and practice safe lifting; report near misses and unsafe conditions.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
