Job summary

Dixieply Dallas is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and move building materials in the warehouse and during truck loading. The role requires reading various orders and documents to determine items, counting, and safe material handling with a forklift or by hand.

Work is Monday through Friday with possible overtime. Candidates should maintain a clean, organized warehouse and build positive relationships with customers picking up material.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read customer orders, shipping orders, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to physically move material by forklift or by hand.
• Must keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Must maintain good business relations with customers who come to pick up material.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks.
• Unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveries.
• Read and interpret written company documents to identify products and quantities.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times.
• May require overtime and must be able to work Monday through Friday.
