Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. The role focuses on loading/unloading delivery trucks, stocking inventory, and operating warehouse equipment to maintain a safe, organized warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and forklift experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift 75 pounds and climb ladders with loads.
• One year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and off-loading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damage.
• Ensuring that all stock is properly stored.
• Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick up.
• Utilizing company specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information.
• Utilizing hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, forklifts, drills, saws, etc.).
• Light fabricating.
• Other duties as assigned.
