Job summary

Olympic Steel Inc. is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and assist machine operators.

You will assemble wooden skids, band material, and prepare parts for finishing while maintaining a clean, safe work area and paying close attention to customer specifications. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiar with basic measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow directions.
• Knowledge of power tools and machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift to load and unload material.
• Operate overhead crane to load and unload material.
• Assemble wooden skids and assist in banding material.
• Package and/or kit parts.
• Finish parts by hand grinding or deburring machine.
• Measure material or parts per customer specifications.
• Keep work area clean and maintained throughout shift.
