Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a contract role based in Greencastle, PA. The role covers shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment in a busy warehouse, with training to operate cherry picker forklifts and other PIT equipment.

You will handle items, verify quantities, and support daily distribution operations while following quality, safety, and attendance policies. This onsite position emphasizes teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 02 years of related warehouse or logistics experience.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Comfort working at heights and willingness to be trained on cherry picker forklift equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, store, and process items for shipment in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure accurate orders and quality for timely delivery.
• Receive materials and verify quality, type, and quantity.
• Confirm that incoming shipments include documentation (packing lists).
• Operate powered industrial trucks and reach trucks after training.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures (room, cold, freezer).
• Follow distribution and quality standards and safety policies.
• Adhere to schedules, policies, and instructions, with good attendance.
• Use ERP, Outlook, and shipping software to support daily warehouse functions.
• Communicate with internal team and provide good customer service.
• Identify deviations and escalate issues to maintain quality and safety.
• Complete equipment training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Handle packaged hazardous materials safely.
• Perform highly repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Work flexible shifts, overtimes, with advance notice.
• Occasionally travel locally to support operations.
