Job summary

Sid Wainer & Son is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping and receiving to meet productivity and quality goals. The role requires operating pallet jacks and forklifts, and adherence to safety practices, with the ability to ascend on a cherry picker using a safety harness.

You will read orders, move materials, and assemble customer orders, ensuring pallets are labeled and prepared for loading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience with warehouse duties preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Read schedules and orders to determine items to move or pick.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and break down products by SKU, quantity, and type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift as required.
• Ascend up to 25 ft on cherry picker in a safety harness.
• Communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators.
• Follow safety practices for truck and trailer loading/unloading.
• Label pallets and prepare orders for loading or shipping.
• Open and handle crates, bales, and other containers as needed.
