Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Warehouse Person in the Distribution department to maintain sanitation standards, keep facilities clean, and ensure products are accessible for safe stocking and delivery.

The role requires 18+ years, weekend/holiday availability, and certification in pallet truck and forklift operations by start date. Physical lifts of 67 lbs (Frozen/Produce) and 85 lbs (Meat/Dairy) are required. Safety PPE must be used.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Must obtain pallet truck and forklift certification by start date.
• Ability to lift 67 pounds (Frozen Foods and Produce) and 85 pounds (Boxed Meat/Dairy).
• Read, write, and identify and verify numbers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the building per Distribution’s Sanitation SOP.
• Ensure product is accessible for safe selection and delivery to stores.
• Assist with cleaning industrial equipment, tractor trailers and facility floors.
• Sort recycling materials and help reduce shrink by labeling and repackaging as needed.
• Document completed tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
