Job Profile: Warehouse Associate - Flowood Insulation Sales

Reports to: Branch Manager

Location: Central Region, Flowood, MS

ISO Services is a 40+ year old industrial service and construction company providing all disciplines of industrial maintenance and construction. We are a division of Ergon Construction Group, an Ergon, Inc. company. Our services include specialty trades (insulation, fireproofing, painting/coatings, scaffolding & heat tracing) in addition to our mechanical and civil capabilities.

Position Overview:

This position reports to the Branch Manager and must reside within the assigned region and be at the Flowood office. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of insulation products, ensuring high safety standards and quality service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Receive and inspect incoming insulation material shipments for quality.
2. Organize and store products in designated areas to maintain an efficient warehouse.
3. Prepare, package, and fulfill orders for customers to pick up or for shipment.
4. Ensure accuracy of each order.
5. Meet strict deadlines set by management for pickup, shipment, or delivery.
6. Learn fabrication methods from legacy systems.
7. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
8. Conduct inventory counts and assist in managing stock levels to prevent shortages.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
10. Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service during order processing.
11. Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
12. Support other crafts working at the facility as needed.

Applicable Experience & Competencies:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Additional education or certifications in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
3. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
4. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
5. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
10. Knowledge of insulation materials and products would be beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
2. Must be in a physical condition that will allow walking long distances.
3. Must be able to work in any environment (heat, cold, rain).
4. Must be able to physically work up to 84 hours a week, if necessary.
5. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
6. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach, and climb.
7. Must be able to work in confined spaces.
8. Must be well-groomed.
9. This position will be based in Flowood, MS. Travel may be required.
