Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking General Warehouse Worker professionals in Maquoketa, IA to support conveyor operations, product vetting, and safe, organized warehouse procedures. This temp labor role offers daytime and nighttime shifts, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work to increase earnings.

The position requires physical fitness to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of walking, standing, lifting, and moderate climbing.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of the product on the conveyor system, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
• Ensures the work areas are properly supplied for the next shift in order to minimize downtime.
• Pick products to be placed in totes for shipping, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, performing housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Remove damaged merchandise and break down master cases in accordance with company procedures.
• Breaks down master cases in FDS pack and loads cardboard in required time frame.
• Flips cases so that the barcode is showing properly before being scanned
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal and team safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
