Job summary

Automotive Keys Group (AKG) in Florida is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our order fulfillment. You will pick and pack daily, use handheld scanners to locate items, and ensure accuracy and timely shipping.

This role requires a high school diploma, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliability. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with WMS and scanners are a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and daytime shifts.

• 2+ years’ warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders daily using handheld scanners.
• Label, pack, and ship orders accurately and securely.
• Document shipment details including tracking updates.
• Count finished products to verify orders are complete.
• Examine products for quality conformance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Inventory Control, Fulfillment, Shipping, and Operations teams.

Job description

Position Summary:The Warehouse Associate is a valuable part of our order fulfillment process—using pick tickets to locate items, pulling accurate quantities, packing them with care, and maintaining consistent productivity.Key Responsibilities:Pick and pack our orders daily; accurately pick customer sales orders using handheld scanning devices, meeting daily performance quotas.Label, pack, and ship orders securely and correctly, ensuring all shipments meet company standards for accuracy and presentation.Document and communicate key shipment details, including serial numbers, tracking updates, and changes to shipping addresses, when applicableCount finished products to determine if product orders are completeExamine products to verify conformance to quality standardsComply with all safety policies and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain a clean and safe work areaWork cooperatively with the fulfillment team to meet quotas and goalsTeam Support:Collaborate with Receiving, Inventory Control, Fulfillment, Shipping, and Operations teams to achieve daily objectives.Support cross-functional warehouse activities during peak periods or staffing needs.Communicate operational issues, inventory concerns, and process opportunities to supervisors.Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assignedEducation and Experience Required:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reachingAble to lift 50 lbs. occasionallyReliable and punctualPreferred Skills and Abilities:2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse setting, preferredFamiliarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to meet daily productivity goals.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Job Type: Full-TimeExpected Hours: M-F, daytime hours, shift time determined by the leaderPay: $16.00 per hourComprehensive benefits package offered.Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
