Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Elloree, SC to perform shipping/receiving duties in a fast-paced distribution center. You will select and palletize orders for store shipments and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include completing shipping/receiving paperwork, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining sanitation throughout the work area. Candidate should be detail-oriented and a motivated team player in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks assigned.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-operational check of pallet jacks or forklifts according to company policy.
• Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
