Staffmark in Dayville, CT is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inbound and outbound distribution activities, including picking, packing, stocking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

The role requires safe work practices, attention to detail, and the ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse software. You will be part of a team ensuring accurate orders and timely movement of goods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, shipping documents, order information, and warehouse procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including RF scanners and data entry tools.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and inventory processes.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse technology, or inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse operations supporting inbound and outbound distribution activities, including order picking, packing, stocking, shipping, receiving, and quality control.
• Accurately process customer orders while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Load, unload, move, and organize inventory and freight throughout the warehouse.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and related technology to track materials and complete transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Follow direction from warehouse leadership and assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
