Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate. The role involves handling orders with RF scanners in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate forklifts, perform picking/packing, and ensure accurate data entry into the WMS system. Weekly pay, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. We provide safety gear and state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and maintain equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Detail oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock employees on new procedures.
• Perform picking and packing duties.
• Perform material moves with associated transactions.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
