Ryder System, Inc. in Hazelwood, Missouri is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our facility. The role offers on-site work with competitive hourly pay and extensive benefits.

You will operate forklifts, enter data into the WMS, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and efficiency. Expect on-the-job training, weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and employees discounts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues).

Aufgaben

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock employees on new procedures; ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate scanning issues and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for damage to products or containers.
• Perform material moves with corresponding transactions as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and related functions.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
