Job summary

PDI - Kitchen, Bath, & Lighting is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a busy warehouse environment.

You will help maintain inventory integrity, operate forklifts and scanners, and support safety procedures to ensure smooth operations. Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in warehouse ops is a plus.
• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably plumbing, lighting, or appliance supply.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks like counting, labeling, and sorting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in using WMS and handheld scanners.
• A valid driver's license and forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify items against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Stock and receive products, maximize space, ensure easy access to items.
• Pick items for customer orders and pack securely for shipment; verify SKUs and quantities.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, keep aisles clear.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; handle hazardous materials as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
