Job summary

Alside, a leading exterior building products distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, shipping, and inventory management while upholding safety and service standards. This role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

The position involves lifting up to 100 lbs, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and coordinating with the Branch Manager to maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Experience in delivery or logistics and familiarity with warehouse operations.
• Understanding of safety policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maximize efficiency and support sales by maintaining warehouse operations and processes.
• Accurately receive and pull products to meet operational needs.
• Complete necessary paperwork and submit to the appropriate department timely.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and functionality to company standards.
• Implement 5S practices for a clean, organized workspace.
• Operate safely and adhere to safety protocols while using PPE.
• Review inventory discrepancies and notify Branch Manager promptly.
• Ensure accurate product receiving and pulling to maintain inventory integrity.
• Rack and tag merchandise for easy access and traceability.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager to support inventory accuracy.
