Job summary

RXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Nashville to help move freight through our network efficiently. You will assist with shipping and receiving, verify orders, and support inventory control while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has basic communication and computer skills, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights or weekends as freight volumes dictate.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Willing to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers.
• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and verifying orders.
• Read orders and determine items to move, gather, distribute and/or ship.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for staff and customers.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts.
• Take load data from drivers and verify deliveries for accounting.
• Monitor and verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
