Job summary

American Tire Distributors seeks a Warehouse I to join our nationwide tire distribution network. You will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, move and stage items, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires handling products up to 150 pounds, operating forklifts and related equipment, data entry, and assisting in daily closing procedures. Competencies include teamwork, safety, and efficiency, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree required.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading.
• Data entry of product number, use of hand-held devices and inventory accuracy.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as paperwork handling and warehouse closing procedures.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments, and returns to vendors; segregate defective items from regular inventory flow.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, handling products up to approximately 50 pounds; manage tires and heavier items.
