Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage and shipment of products. You will help pick, pack and prepare orders to ensure on-time delivery to healthcare facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable working in cooler environments (36–42°F) for extended periods. Overtime may be required; safety rules and PPE must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred
• RF scanner
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
• Work in refer 36°F-42°F for up to 8 hours
• Overtime with little advance notice
• Learn to operate MHE and rotate into various areas
• Work at heights up to 25 feet
• Adherence to safety PPE and EHS policies
• Accurate paperwork processing
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Flexible and multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• Accurately pick products, perform quality control checks, pack products, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
