Job summary

SanMar is seeking a General Warehouse worker to support daily DC operations, maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment. You will sort, pack, and prepare materials, restock supplies, and assist with inventory records as needed.

The role requires ability to read and follow instructions, basic math skills, and the flexibility to handle high-demand periods. Overtime may be required, with benefits including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels, and SKUs.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Follows directions and can change priorities as needed.
• Works well in high-demand, high-volume environments and meets deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, compact, and bind cardboard for recycling; recycle plastics.
• Set up order processing areas with supplies.
• Restock recycled boxes, new boxes, and envelopes.
• Keep inventory records of boxes, tape, and envelopes.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area per safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
