Job summary

Jobtailor in Windsor Locks is seeking a warehouse associate to load, unload, and stock goods using power equipment. You will fill orders, scan items, and help maintain accurate receiving and inventory records.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be flexible for shifts and overtime and able to lift up to 100 lbs when needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, sit, climb ladders or stairs, and balance as required.
  • Ability to work in narrow aisles or passageways and variable temperature conditions.
  • Required close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, with ability to adjust and focus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred

  • Scan and count items from receiving area and load onto carts.
  • Stock items by location and quantity.
  • Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place in proper shelf location.
  • Check off merchandise as received.
  • Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets.
  • Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
  • Work with stock manager to address order problems.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote warehouse safety.
  • Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
