Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a FULL TIME Equipment Operator to join our warehouse team. The role involves receiving, unloading, and processing inbound shipments, plus picking and loading outbound orders using RF scanners and pallet jacks.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a shift schedule Monday–Friday, 4:30 AM start, with pay at $20.50/hr plus 8%–10% shift differential where applicable. Medical, dental, and vision are provided from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be able to unload, receive, and process inbound shipments.
• Able to use RF equipment and Voice Pick Technology for accurate picking and receiving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload pallets and cases from inbound trailers manually with pallet jack.
• Bulk pick products as directed by Vision Pick Technology or RF scanner; place in totes or pallets.
• Prepare sortation areas and move cartons to pallets/carts for efficient processing.
• Load outbound shipments using RF scanner and pallet jack; ensure correct loading onto trucks.

We are seeking a FULL TIME Equipment Operator to join our team at Owens & Minor! The anticipated pay rate for this position is: $20.50/hr + 8% and 10% shift differential where applicable. Job Description

Performs warehouse tasks within the facility, primarily without the use of Material Handling Equipment (cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift, motorized pallet jack, etc.). Unloads, receives, and processes inbound shipments. Performs bin replenishment, moves product around the distribution center to ensure efficient processing, and prepares pick locations. Accurately picks, packs, sorts and loads outbound products in accordance with customer specifications. Ensures warehouse functions are completed safely, accurate, and on-time within company standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Receiving Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually using the pallet jack. Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology, documents variances.
• Bulk picking Select products and quantities as directed by Vision Pick Technology and / or RF scanner and places in totes or on a pallet. Assist on the dock with scanning and loading the freight using electric riding pallet jack or manually load carts.
• Sortation Prepares sortation area by setting up pallets and carts for product. Moves cartons and totes from conveyor belts and / or rollers and places on pallets and /carts according to assigned batch.
• Loading Uses RF scanner to ensure that totes, pallets and carts are loaded correctly onto trucks for customer delivery. Uses pallet jack to load pallets.
