Job summary

Timken in Thorofare, NJ is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Worker to support shipping, receiving, and stock management. You will perform duties such as picking, packing, cycle counting, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time orders.

Shifts available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with rates around $18.04 per hour plus a $1.23 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates must lift up to 35 pounds, have intermediate computer skills, and prefer experience with SAP, UPS WorldShip, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work.
• Preferred experience with SAP, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx portals.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials to assigned storage locations within the warehouse and production areas using material handling equipment, forklift, pallet jack, and/or WAV (on-site training provided).
• Pack, pick, and prepare orders, including proper paperwork for shipments.
• Liaise between Shipping/Receiving and other departments regarding material movement.
• Transport materials between the warehouse and assembly locations.
• Read and understand work instructions, including shipping and invoicing processes.
• Follow established work practices and procedures to ensure quality and compliance with business management procedures.
• Engage in cycle counting, maintain FIFO, monitor shop supplies, and perform general housekeeping.
• Notify management of unsafe working conditions or practices in and out of assigned work area by entering a safety opportunity card.
