Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle inventory, packing, shipping and customer pickups in a busy retail/warehouse environment. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months warehouse experience; forklift certification and pallet jack experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repetitively lift up to 50 pounds loading/unloading designated trailers and route trucks.
• Track inventory – shipped and received merchandise.
• Contact customers for pickups and deliveries.
• Load merchandise in customers’ vehicles and/or on Company delivery truck.
• Stack pallets of products in an organized and safe manner.
• Work with store personnel to ensure customers are served quickly and effectively.
• Comply with OSHA requirements and company policies.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repetitively lift up to 50 pounds loading and unloading designated trailers and/or route trucks.
• Tracks all inventory – shipped and received merchandise.
• Contact customers for pickups and deliveries.
• Load merchandise in customers’ vehicles and/or on Company delivery truck.
• Stacks pallets of products in an organized and safe manner.
• Work directly with store personnel to ensure customers are taken care of quickly and effectively.
• Comply with OSHA requirements.
• Follows store policies and procedures in accordance with Company expectations.
• Organizes warehouse, maintains warehouse in a clean and code compliant condition.
• Provides positive customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Receive e-mail orders from customer service.
• Print BOL and pick list.
• Pick, pack, wrap and label orders.
• Ship customer orders.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma and or GED
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a warehouse environment.

GENERIC SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance and punctuality are required as a full-time employee in order to perform all the essential functions.

• Able to work under a flexible schedule
• Have the ability to use a Hand/Electric Pallet Jack.
• Will be Forklift Certified.
