Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role combines responsibilities across material handling, driving/delivery, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate is experienced in warehouse environments, comfortable operating equipment such as sit-down forklifts, and confident using computer systems to track inventory and shipments. The position requires 2–4+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience hauling trailers, including flatbed trailers with 5th-wheel hitch systems
• Experience transporting heavy equipment, construction materials, or industrial machinery
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and warehouse procedures
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, email, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse space
• Safely operate company vehicles, trucks, and trailers to deliver and pick up materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
• Transport construction materials and heavy equipment using flatbed trailers and 5th-wheel towing systems
• Secure loads in accordance with safety and DOT requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to job sites or customers
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections
• Track inventory levels and update systems in real time
• Investigate discrepancies and support inventory accuracy initiatives
• Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
