We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity, supporting our Chesterton, IN warehouse. As our Warehouse Associate, you will work with the team to maintain workflow, scanning documents, load and unload trucks, and make daily mail pickups.

Responsibilities

• Lift mail bins up to 50lbs
• Create and move pallets
• Process and scan paperwork
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Perform a variety of warehouse duties
• Perform other duties normally associated with the Shipping/Receiving Department

Security Requirements

• Implement and act in accordance with the company’s information security policies

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop or reach 3 feet above the head and 3 feet laterally, and to climb stairs
• Strength sufficient to lift and push or pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to write, read maps, and follow directions

Knowledge

• Driving regulations - vans/straight trucks
• Safe operation of a two-axle vehicle

Ability

• Write, read maps, and follow directions
• Verbally communicate details and adhere to all safety regulations
• Plan and organize work and manage competing priorities without close supervision
