General Description:

Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit, evangelical Christian organization. Our purpose is religious, centered on sharing the Gospel and assisting the homeless and impoverished. Every position is vital to our mission, and all employees must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Essential Functions:

• Follow KDC policies and procedures.
• Record all donation pickup requests.
• Discern, prioritize, and schedule qualified donations for pickup.
• Keep the truck safe, clean, stocked with donation receipts, and organized. Secure moving equipment in the truck bed.
• Weekly checks of all truck fluids and tire pressure.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to the Operations Director.
• Deliver qualified items to Simple Treasures or Rescued Treasures as needed.
• Perform water pickup, metal, or dump runs as required.
• Assist with maintaining the area behind trash dumpsters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Primarily involves furniture pickup from donors.
• Tools and equipment include various tools, moving equipment, and phones.
